CBC KIDS – WORD OF LIFE

Join us for the Winter/Spring term

Welcome ages 5 yrs through 6th grade

We think your kids are great! You want them to be able to learn in a fun and safe place. That’s what we want for them too. They will have a blast at Olympians and you can be confident that they are in good hands. Our goal is to teach kids what God says about kindness, making good decisions, and loving others.

WELCOMING ANY CHIID Even if this will be your child’s first time coming to church, they will fit right in. Any child can learn from our Bible lessons.

READING THE BIBLE We provide a journal called Quiet Time that helps your child read the Bible more often.

CONNECTING WITH YOU Each week we will have available a page (printed or online) explaining what your child learned through the lesson.

CARING LEADERSHIP Our staff spends time each week getting to know your child and encouraging them.

AWARDS We award your child throughout the year as they make progress. At the end of the year, we will celebrate with an awards ceremony.

TEACHING IMPORTANT LESSONS Each Bible lesson teaches important principles, stories, and values.

GRIEFSHARE SUPPORT GROUP

Meeting every Tuesday at 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

13 week series of meetings on Tuesdays. Come to see how you, or a friend can journey from “Mourning to Joy.” You’ll find it a safe and supportive place to be. Whether you’ve lost someone close recently or quite some time ago, it’s good to walk down the road to healing with others who are on the same road. We hope to see you soon!

Fellowship Dinner

On the first Sunday of each month we have Communion during the morning service. It is our custom to have a fellowship dinner immediately following this service – an informal time when we can all relax and get to know each other a little better. Everyone is welcome to come and stay. Many people bring food to share – such as a casserole, or a salad, or a dessert, but it is not required – and we always have plenty of food for all. Please join us if you can.

There is also free babysitting available in our nursery.
