STEP FIFTEEN

CBC Member Vote

At the close of the candidacy period, active CBC members will vote in consideration of offering the position of full-time senior pastor to the candidate

Once an applicant has been selected for candidacy:

  1. He would regularly visit to preach, teach, and meet with our current Pastor
  2. The Elders would maintain open communication with the individuals who express opinions and/or concerns about the candidate
  3. If by the end of the period, all signs are positive, a vote by the membership would be taken. The official calling requires a 75% approval rate or higher which is stipulated in our constitution
  4. If the vote is positive, then the Elders would extend to the candidate the call to begin his new role as our senior pastor
